I've just added The Morning After to my shops! Poor Santa needs to soak those feet after a long cold night. I grew up in Wichita Falls, and Midwestern State University does an amazing display every year. At the end of the display, Santa is sitting in his chair, that is rocking, and moaning as he soaks his feet. I'm talking life size displays, it's called The Fantasy of Lights, it's an amazing thing to see. So, I used that as my inspiration.
This was a fun one to punch. I started the bricks first with the 'grout'.
It's done mainly in DMC floss, but I added 3 Valdani colors. The fire, the fire background, and the sky outside the window.
When I do 2 colors together, you get a whole new color. I use the 2 colors, making it look like I'm using variegated thread. You must leave a little room for your second color.
All done, I put mine in a frame so I could sit him on one of my shelves.
