Finishing Pumpkins Eve

Hello everyone! I've had questions about finishing so I thought I would show you how I finished Pumpkins Eve. At this point, I've already pulled it off my frame. I've zig-zag stitched it with my sewing machine, then cut the monk's cloth 1 inch all the way around. Before you do that, please zigzag it, serge it, or use some kind of fray prevention on your monk's cloth!
Fold all of your monk's cloth under and stitch it in place.
I covered the whole back of my piece and left enough to fold up over the edges.
I start stitching the wool backing up over the edge and stitch in place. As you can see, I only cover the monk's cloth, I don't bring it the rest of the way up to the top of my loops.
Just turn and keep going until each side is covered.
Then done! I usually only do this on small pieces, it's a cute easy way to finish a piece off. You will find the link to Pumpkins Eves in my shops below. If you have any questions or need anything, feel free to email me anytime, Thank for dropping by!
